Hi guys , I have an MSI gaming plus x370 motherboard with 2x 8gb 3200 corsair ram . I got 2x 16GB 3200 ram but when i replace the existing ram with the new modules the computer will not boot up even into the BIOS. If there anything obvious I'm missing ? Appreciate any pointers to check.
Here is the new Ram I bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B016ORTNI2/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_-N4tFbBNGNRPD

Have you tried putting just one stick in and seeing if it will boot? And does it boot when you put the old sticks back in?

Thanks for reply . Yes tried one stick of new at a time and does not boot. Old ram works no problem.

Clear the bios by either switch on board if it has one of by taking out the CMOS battery and then put 1 of the new sticks in and try booting. Is the system overclocked at all?

If it is default to system normal settings and start again.

No not overclocked , just remember having to set the ram speed manually to 3200 on the bios. I'll try your suggestion now

Thanks for the suggestion. Taking out the battery and loading one stick at a time worked . Just had to go back into the bios after loading both new sticks to set the speed correctly . The BIOS was showing them at 2133.

Thanks again for the help guys . If anyone is looking for 2x 8gb DDR4 3200 let me know. Based in Tallaght

    Edit: sold

    Would these work alongside 2x 8GB @ 3000 MHz?
I know the whole batch would work at 3000, but they would, right?

The *Should* but you'd have to select timings manually I believe.
