Converting Recessed Light to Pendent Light

Hi, we're moving to a new-old house which has only recessed lights. We would like to convert some of them to pendent lights. There seems to be many conversion kits online on Amazon US (incredibly high shipping fees), but none local. A google search doesn't seem to point me to any local hardware/lighting shops. Would anyone…

You can get round dry liner boxes depending on the size of the down light. If you can't patching the hole wouldn't be hard
