I am due to give my notice in next week to start a new job. Im worried about a lockdown starting during my notice period and me being left on my sweeney todd with no wages.

What will happen in such an instance?

You won't be entitled to any social welfare payments

If you quit your job you may fall into a grey area.

Especially if the new job doesnt start before a lockdown if it were to happen
