“These are the people who elected de Blasio, who live here,” Sliwa said. “It’s a progressive, liberal neighborhood.
And now there’s a visceral hate here for him — the feeling that he has virtually singlehandedly destroyed this city.”
Why do the people who caused the problems get to leave?

The homeless needs to be housed somewhere, and it's probably good the people that made the bed now get to lie in it.

Well the thing is, they didnt think they would really have to lie in it. They thought they could maybe use a tax that pays for something that doesnt affect them to house them somewhere that isnt near them.
    Typical money tree people.

So they put all the homeless in upmarket hotels in new yorks upper westside during corona. All the we are in this together we hate republicans voting people from these areas are now moving out and are taking legal action against the new york state for putting these poor ethnic homeless people in their area who fear their children will be raped.

You really couldnt make it up.

So u haul vans and moving companies in new york are busier than ever. There are reports hollywood is finished too with all the rich selling up there because of the everybody gets the same mentality that they preached to the people with nothing.

So will you be snapping up a cheap mansion in the hollywood hills now that the famous dont live there anymore?

    Ridiculous case of 2+2=57 here.

People are moving because it was the epicenter of COVID and is still basically shut down despite the per capita number being one of the best. Why would you pay to have a small apartment in one of the most expensive cities in the world when your office has you working remote and all the bars/restaurants/amenities are basically shut down and it looks unlikely they'll reopen any time soon?

Seems like some locals gave the homeless people a nice welcome.

high taxes and increasing levels of criminality brought about now by antifa / blm is what's making people leave.

liberals voters moving from the city their policies fuked up to a more conservative city and then continue to vote liberal and fuk that city up as well.

I love that, she held a chalk art welcome party where they wrote yes in my backyard all over the ground then blamed trump on some people not being happy about it.

    Then probably moved out.

Any evidence of increased criminality caused by antifa / blm? Is that your catch all blame for everything?

There are barely any conservative cities and few that don't see help from being democrat states are what I'd call well run.

its a vicious cycle, so many from California going to Texas for lower cost safer living and then they vote for the same things that made California expensive and riddled with crime.
