    Lots of painting and renovating going on, and walking past the other day a piece of kitchen equipment in the window had "Apache Pizza" written on it... I hope it doesn't go that way, Howth has enough franchise takeaways as it is. At least Caffe Caira was independent, best chips in Howth too.

    A shame. Another independent cafe gone. Liked a cod and chips in there after a bracing pier walk.
