Hi understand there is a lot of overwhelming information out there on this topic but can anyone guide me. I bought in bulk a large quantity of wooden flooring (4cbm ; 1500kgs) the price I got quoted for CIF is 2400 but has anyone ever got Chinese suppliers to declare a lower cost invoice and lower weight so my VAT charges will be lower? Or do customs do their own valuation this end? Just wondering what the general consensus is on this as I’ve never purchased Chinese imports in this quantity before and I am already committed to the deal so can’t go back on it at this point
