IKEA Desk Configurator Query

    Hi all,
I'm looking to hear from anyone whom has configured there own desk from ikea,
    or anyone whom has been to Ikea recently perhaps they could tell me also;

the various wooden tops which are available for the custom desks,
are the tops consistently solid in there structure?

reason im asking is because the black wooden tops are 120cm wide and I'm looking to fit it to the corner of my kitchen to place a printer on top,
ill be using two solid walls to support the top
    and one leg,

i need to cut the desk surface down from 120cm to 95cm as result; I would like to know if the desk tops are consistently solid or a shell inside.

an alternative option is to purchase a kitchen worktop surface however they are double the price and double the size which i require,

here's a link to the desk top surfaces in question: https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/planner/byod-planner/

    thanks very much in advance

I bought the Karlby worktop and it looks like you can cut it as they come with 2 end strips to cover over any cuts

    Its the 1.83m one

I bought 2 Alex units, one cupboard and one drawer and got some furniture feet screwed them to the top of the Alex units and rest the worktop on top

The desk has a Lack shelf on it suspended on Capita legs

Most of the desktop/worktops they have are not solid. I struggled to find a piece of solid wood for 1.8m in length so it will be more difficult for what you need
Maybe scour adverts for an offcut of solid worktop, you might get lucky or a salvage yard

The Linnmon one you have linked is not solid. Have a look on youtube, there is a video clip on cutting one in half
I have the 1.2m Linnmon in black in my shed as a worktop shelf. Very light
