Laptop for 5th yr student Budget €599

Hi all, looking for advice on what to look for as I don't know where to start. Son starting 5th year and ideally would like a lightweight laptop that will see him through the next 5 years for school work and leisure use. Is the budget unrealistic?

Look at refurbished laptops.

Excellent value, great power fir the money. And very eco

The 14 and 15 are the same price and only spec difference I see is the screen being bigger on the 15. Am I missing something that makes the 14 more appealing?

there is a bigger and longer lasting battery in the 14 over the 15 (30% bigger battery)

it's also of a more portable weight (and size).

it's by far the best deal out there at the moment.

nothing comes close.

doubtful that there would be any issue with this laptop as it's been out a number of months with no high % of issues reported so far.

what link are you referring to for after sales reports?

you will still get an EU 2 year warranty.

you will have to pay postage to return to UK if necessary.
