Firebird outdoor boiler - I can't open the housing!

I'm having trouble with my outdoor firebird oil boiler. I'm not sure what model it is - looks like a C20 from the picture, though it probably doesn't matter much. My main problem (at the moment) is that I just can't get the housing open, and I can't find anything in the documentation that says how to do it. One of the narrow panels (the one without the flue) will slide up and down a little. It has some sort of handle in the centre at the bottom, which will turn through 90° though I don't know if that is connected to a mechanism of some sort or the handle is just loose. Anyway, fiddling with it doesn't seem to achieve much. Apart from that, I can't see any way into it at all. There is obviously some trick to it - I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me what it is!

    Thanks

if you cant turn the latch at the bottom it may be stuck or rusted

on the top cover just undo 2 screws and slightly lift the cover it will allow the front panel to lift out
