Hi, My Kindle 7 has finally given up the ghost and I'm thinking of purchasing the latest Kindle 8 or 10 model. Can anyone advise if either of the above models can still be sideloaded with the Google Play store pack.

I use my Kindle primarily for reading books, mags and newspapers hence the need for the play store app.
There are currently mixed answers on the Amazon site and it's hard to decipher which model some people are talking about over there.
    Thanks.

Can't answer much about the play store, I never put it on my Kindle Fire but if you're a member of a local library you can use RG Digital, Borrow Box and Press Reader for free to read books, magazines and newspapers.
Might be an option if side loading is not possible.

That's great thanks. I actually have them on my old 7 gen Kindle which I had sideloaded and I assumed that the same was required on the newer models. Great, thanks.

It should be pretty much the same process. I've sodeloaded all the apps to get the playstore running on my kindle 8.

That's smashing, thanks. It's sitting at a hub in Dublin for delivery Tuesday, so I'll be back on track again. Thanks.
