It is based in Galway and is available on the Radio Garden app as well. http://radio.garden/

It has a sister station called Planet Country.

This new station has a number of very experienced broadcasters, such as Ollie Clarke, Keith Shanley, John Finnerty and Carl Dee (originally from England), as well as a number of more recent names. One of the newer names is Englishman Steve Johnston, who is broadcasting from Thialand!

Ollie, Keith and John all started in pirate radio. In addition, Ollie and John were both involved with Shannonside/Northern Sound.

Carl Dee started with BBC Radio Cumbria in 1984 and then BBC Radio Solent, 2CR. Since 1990, he has been involved with numerous stations in Northern Ireland, where he now lives.

    The other presenters include:
Kiera Connolly, who has been DJing since 1991 and was involved with Radio West/Galway Bay FM,
Ollie Moran, who has been DJing since 1999,
Simon Campbell, who starting DJing on St. Itas Hospital Radio five years ago.

Incidentally, both Ollie Clarke and Keith Shanley have been involved with Christmas FM.

At least two of the lineup have played in bands : the two Ollies - Clarke (again!) and Moran.

Not exactly Classic Hits, if they are playing Jason Derulo, or whatever his name is, which is new music.

I notice that they have an evening show called Night Moves, which is also the name of a show on the same timeslot as on Music One Ireland.
