Getting in contact with Vodafone!

I’m currently a Vodafone customer and I was contacted by a Vodafone agent on the 23rd April 2020 (during the lockdown) and was offered a deal with their fibre Gibit Broadband, I agreed to the offer. I received a letter on 27th April 2020 stating the contract and when an installer will visit. I had two installers visit my home on the 30th April 2020 they had difficulties installing the fibre cable through the underground ducts outside my house, they believe there could be tree roots blocking the ducts and they told me they needed a different crew to come out to fix this issue. I totally understand that this can happen.
On 1st May I received a notice from Vodafone via text message that there was “further work required before my installation can go ahead” and I was forecasted an install date of 01/06/20, this date was later changed on 3rd Jun 20 to a new forecasted date of 1/08/20.

The 1st Ang 2020 has come and gone, it’s now 26th Aug now with no contact from Vodafone, I have tried to contact Vodafone myself on 1907 or 1800 800 020, but they have a new PIN system that I can NOT get passed, I tried two known PIN numbers (no joy with either) I have tried numerous times to reset the PIN on the Vodafone website, and I keep getting “the update has failed, please try again or contact the Contact Centre or the live chat agent” – I know of no way to talk to a real person from Vodafone which does not involve inputting this new PIN, I have tried to do the online chat support, but they couldn’t or wouldn’t help me either, they only redirected me to 1907 – which involves entering a PIN.

I think with so many people working from home the internet providers are snowed under with people contacting them with issues, they have come up with this firewall of a PIN to keep us from contacting them.

Does anyone know of any other way to contact Vodafone?

Seems to be major problems contacting them this week. Try Facebook or Twitter.
