Digiweb FTTH - SIRO vs Lightning

Digiweb has two different FTTH offerings:
    https://digiweb.ie/siro-broadband/
    https://digiweb.ie/lightning-ftth-broadband/

They have more or less same advertised speed and same price. The only difference seems to be that one is based on SIRO and the other might not be. Anyone knows if there is any meaningful difference in terms of availability, performance, etc.?

The Siro service operates on the Siro network (mostly available in select areas of certain towns/urban areas. The lightning fast broadband is OpenEir network and operates in both regional towns and lots of rural areas.

They are completely seperate networks but performance is almost identical except on Siro's network you get better upload speed on the 500 plan, 70 upload on Siro vs 50 on OpenEir's. The 1000 plan on both networks are now identical in terms of both download and upload.

The lightning FTTH is much more readily available compared to Siro as Siro only operate in select large towns and even in those towns only certain areas have it. OpenEir are working very quickly on their IFN (urban rollout) so it's availability will become even more widespread throughout this year in towns and villages as well as parts of Dublin.
