State pension after leaving the country

    Hello there,

I've been living and working as PAYE in Ireland for 5 years and I have now left.

My employer contributed to my pension plan as well as myself with fortnightly deductions from my gross salary.

I should have also accrued State Pension through PRSI contributions and I am now wondering if those 5 years of contributions would be enough for getting a State Pension when I retire?

I am also looking for advice on the possibility to voluntary contribute towards State Pension if that's allowed and if it makes actually sense? What should I consider for taking such decision?

Thank you in advance for your help!
