What is on your house bucket list?

Whenever the day will come when I build/buy my own house, these would

be some of my bucket list items .........budget dependent :-)

A Utility Room - have spent years living in apartments and never having a dryer in a house, I am sick of the clothes horse on display for half the year trying to dry clothes, so a utility room to do the laundry and close the door behind

A Pantry. Very popular now, but in one house I lived in years and years ago the pantry was a separate (albeit tiny) room and ever since I loved them. I have a few bulky gadgets - food processor, food mixer etc and it is a pain dragging them out from the back of a press, so I would like a counter top in the pantry that these appliances would live happily ever after on

Sink with draining board - a proper draining board, not the lines cut out in to worktops. Probably makes me old fashioned but leaving things on these worktop draining boards and have the water go everywhere, not for me. Prefer the draining board which would rule out the beautiful belfast sinks

A hot water tap - never had one but I think they sound cool and people who do have them installed seem to love them

Storage heating - not an issue for houses, but I always hated them in apartments

Storage - I prefer things behind press doors rather than open shelving

Bath in the bedroom ensuite - no idea why just love the idea of it.

L Shaped Couches - torn on this one. They are comfy for the home owners but not the best for guests. A 5 seater L shaped couch would really only sit 3 people

I'm sure I probably have more, but thats all that comes to mind right now. So what would be on your bucket list for a house?

Just started renovating recently, things that I felt were really important to me either to get now or down the line

A walk in shower, in my experience shower doors get broke and dirty, a nice long stone tray with one screen on the side as it's not a wet room.

A play room/area/corner - somewhere for the kids to hang out, play xbox etc rather than everyone on top of each other in the sitting room.

Little or no carpets - sometimes they make sense but it the long run, especially with pets, bit dirty for my liking

Sash windows - its 120 year old house and they replaced the sash windows at the front of the house and left the old ones on the back. Of course 30 years later it's the old windows at the back that are still gorgeous. Priced 5 sash windows at 7.5k so I'll he waiting a while

Garden - we have a huge jungle of a garden on a slant that's of no use to the kids as it is. I think having kids has made me realise the importance of a garden, I wouldn't have cared too much beforehand

Kitchen sink - one of those big deep country type sinks, cant remember the name but they are awesome.

A bath. Rarely used and we very nearly didn’t install one, but I’m so glad we did.
It’s very appreciated when it is used.
    Simple luxury.

Regarding the bathroom; I've fitted some 6.5" car speakers in to the ceiling wired in to a mini hi-fi in the bedroom, the hi-fi has Bluetooth which I've linked to my phone, can play Spotify while relaxing in the bath or singing in the shower,,
Although rechargeable mobile speakers have come a long way now; not sure it's worth the effort anymore,
I got a Wonderboom waterproof speaker free with a Samsung S8 from Virgin Media two years ago and it's equally as good, and can float around in the water
