    hi,

141 1.5 dci fluence I noticed when I suddenly accelerate the car hesitate or losses power for few seconds before it speeds up, normally this happens between 5th and 6th gear no warning lights,

Is that normal for a diesel engine?
    Am I revving too quick?
Is it time to change air filter or injectors?

Turbo lag? A few seconds or a second?

Surely you would have noticed something as obvious as that.

More than likely just a fault with the car.

Around 1-2 secs then it speeds up. Most of the time uphill.

What speed are you going when you want to speed up? Is this a new thing?

Could be intercooler needs a clean?

It happened again tonight on my way home I was in the M50 doing 104km/h 6th gear, I overtake the car infront of me pressed the gas feels like the car pulled back for 1-3 secs even my foot is pressing on the gas, before it launches, accelerated forward.

No error, or weird noise from the engine. Feels like the car was charging up before it accelerated.

It's not new, about 4 times it happens after I bought it last june.

Do you think the rpm was low when I floor the gas causing it?

If you put your foot down in 6th in those 1.5s it takes a second or two before the car decides to accelerate

I'd say you better stop driving on the M50 so. Must be the road

Change the fuel filter and check the lines around the fuel filter and priming bulb for kinks and air getting in.

If a mechanic starts talking about changing injectors at this stage and without investigating the issue thoroughly, run away.

    Or even drive away.

Frankly Frank, its the start of a long list of problems youre going to have with the car. Your mechanics and mates all tried to warn you.
You slagged them off here and laughed at everyone and now your cars got faults.
Thats been said it probably wont cost you that much now.

Yep, I accept that it is my decision and I will have to just deal with it and all cars will have problem man, no car is fecking perfect.

Windsor ordered the parts and will take about 5 days when it arrive they will have to keep.the car for about two days and will lend me another one, probably a ford fiesta, still under warranty so they will cover the costs.

They told me that they will have to get a new timing belt because they can't put back the one they took out.

Is it possible to bring it back at this point??
