Thinking of bringing my Golf GTD to an indie dealer I like the vibe about and it's social media content. He uses MPM oil on all models they do work on. I've never heard of MPM and their branding looks abit naff compared to say Castrol. This garage prices himself towards the upper end of independent garages. Thanks

MPM oil is a Dutch company and meets all specs laid out by manufacturers. They are a very large company, you've nothing to worry about. PM me if you have any other questions.

Once it meets the spec for a 2.0 TDI (a lot aren’t designed to) then it’ll be grand.

I used MPM from Top Part for years on a few cars.

Yeah thanks. Tbh the name and branding look like **** compared to say castrol or the like but I don't care once it's not an 'avoid at all costs'. I mean regular oil changes are more important than fancy dear oil that never gets changed

Top Part have exclusive distribution rights for MPM oil. They're one of the largest motor factor chains in Ireland.

Is much cheaper to buy than a more know brand I wonder

It usually is a more known brand that's in the can.

We used it in the last place I worked. It meets the spec and top part could stand over it with all the paperwork.

Looks like the only search results for it are places that sell it?

Well yes. They sell via agents in different countries. All MPM oils are to spec and have certificates from all manufacturers to show they meet requirements. Castrol etc are a mainstream brand that you can buy anywhere. MPM sell directly to motor factors to be used within the trade rather than via retail settings.

Is it new? There's virtually zero to be found about it other than like I said places that are selling it.

No around for decades. As I said, it's supplied more as a direct product to the trade, hence why you won't have really heard of it. Trust me, I know the background of it, it's as good as you will get.
