Sinus and snoring

Not sure how common this is but my sinuses are absolutely shocking and it tends to lead to snoring which seems to get worse and worse as I get older.

I've been to the doctor and he gave me a nasal spray and found an infection there two years ago so I took antibiotics to sort out the issue. It alleviated it at best but it always seems like the next flare up is coming quickly.

I don't have much dairy, a cup of milk after training for protein in the evening at most, oh and with my porridge in the morning.

My mother and one of my sisters would have bad sinuses as well/ I don't know if it's linked but I do struggle with breathlessness sometime when running and have had big trouble when it comes to swimming which I took up around four years ago. I can go nice and quick but not for long, get fairly wrecked after 3/4 lengths.

    Any thoughts?

A friend had lots of sinus trouble in his younger years - and found that it improved when he stopped eating porridge! The oats set him off, whether in porridge or on brown bread

Try something else for breakfast for a while and see if it helps

My mother has now told me that she's been taking an antihistamine recently and that helps as well.
