My first learner permit expired in 2018 and I've since misplaced it, will i need to resit the theory? or can I just renew it?

    Thanks

You won't need to resit the theory test if your permit is expired less than 5 years. :)

If you have misplaced it, I think you will also have to complete the lost or stolen permit declaration on the application form, and have it witnessed by a garda to submit when you go to renew it.
