    Hi
I am currently living in dublin city in accomdation where there is no option to get any mail sent to me .

I was just wondering does anyone know any places where I might be able to get my mail delivered to and collect it from there?
I have looked into a an post PO box and its just way too expensive.
Does anyone know any shops that or places that would allow me to do this?
    thanks

There's a few shops that do it. Its often called "virtual address" if you go search for it. Here's a southside and northside one I'm aware of.

    https://www.mbe.co.uk/irelanddublinlombardstreet
    https://www.bizpost.ie/pages/our-services/

    Its never particularly cheap.

Should add I've never used that service and never used MBE at all; but I've used BizPost for various other services and they're always seemed very flexible and good and what they do. But if they're miles away from you that's no use!

    How does this work?
So I know the closest post office to me.
Can I just use it straight away?
Do I need to go into my post office

You can use it immediately. When you want to collect mail, you need to bring photo ID with you. Seems it really is as simple as that.

The "Capel Place" part of the address denotes that it is an address point letter and the post office staff simple go to the address point box and get your letter for you.

    I haven't a clue.

Parcel motel is a good option for parcels

    just wondering about this:

Like I do not necessarily know when my stuff is going to arrive at the post office.
Do an post not notify me in some way when it arrives to them
