Ennis/Clarecastle moving

    Hi Stu here married here with 3 kids looking at moving out of Dublin and heading West ,We have been to Ennis and Clarecastle a few times and really like it , would like some advice on the best areas ,schools etc kids are sporty so be looking to join Gaa , everything on paper looks great just we be new family and wouldn't know anyone would be a big move for us would people be welcoming to Dubs etc . Advice be appreciated it thanks

    Moved to Clarecastle with GF about 3 months ago.

    Very quiet village and genuinely no buzz around (but ideal if that’s what you’d like).

    Very impressive GAA facilities. Only 5 mins from Ennis so that’s also nice too.

    No Supermarket within walking distance obv a killer in a sense. Not much to do within walking distance at all but like I said - nice and quiet. Well kept.. people quite nice too to be fair.

    They will not care where you’re from.

    For a young family I would suggest Ennis though.

    Thanks for the reply , we had a look Clarecastle nic place and quiet is good for us lol.were heading back down on Wednesday to have another look around few estates in Ennis and back to Clarecastle .
