Tires for loaded touring tandem

    We've worn through the 700c x 35 Vittoria Voyageur Hyper tires on our touring tandem, which are discontinued, and I'm looking for a suitable replacement.

    In addition to 160kg of rider (thanks pandemic!), our tandem is often also hauling 30kg of gear + child + child seat, or pulling a trailer, or both... generally on (wet, bumpy) roads but sometimes on gravel or dirt. Given the load, I was wondering if ebike tires might be a good option? Or would they just be slow and heavy?

    Any suggestions?
