I went to my dentist and I’ll be honest I didn’t take in most of what was said. I was more focused on the cost of it all!! He gave me a sheet with a diagram of the teeth. Each tooth is numbered and has letters but I’ve no notion what the letters mean!

The letters are FCO. SXLA, FCP and DAP. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

They are treatment codes. There isn’t standardised codes- each software system uses their own ones.So a guesstimate:
    FCO, filling composite front tooth
    FCP, filling composite back tooth
    SXLA, extraction
    DAP, acrylic denture

Hope the bill isn’t too big!
