New Build - Irish Water Connection

Hi, we are purchasing a new build property in Wicklow and were meant to be originally moving in Feb 2020. Obviously with Covid, delays occurred, with the site closing for 2 months. The site since reopened in May (3 months ago) and we are still waiting on Irish Water to sign off on the wastewater connection. Our phase as far as I know consists of 7 houses and have been sitting there all summer, finished. There are children about to start school next week who need to settle in, especially after the pandemic which was and still is extremely traumatising for all children. There are people with mental health issues. There are people who.are unsure if their loan offers still stand with banks. I just cannot understand the delays considering this is a sanitation issue and there is currently a pandemic??!! There is also a homeless crisis in this country. Please advise what time tomorrow I can call a manager to get an explanation and I dont want to be given the GDPR speel. I want to know what date an Irish Water engineer will be out on site to connect and sign off. Otherwise, I will be hounding you with calls consistently until I get an answer and I will be going to the media.
    Regards

I feel your pain, we applied for water/waste water 12 months ago, our house was finished in June and no response from Irish water, can’t pay rent and mortgage any longer
