Hi there, I have suffering from Post Nasal Drip for the past 4 years. I also suffer from Asthma all my life. My daily routine includes, neilmed, Spiriva, Seretide, Rinatec & Avamys
I am out a fortune every month and still no relief. I also had a course of viral antibiotics (suggested by consultant)in hospital for a few days but still no better. I am driven demented...lack of sleep etc due to the problem. Can anyone offer any other solution or have you had any success with a respiratory consultant or ent specialist who might be able to solve the problem. My current respiratory consultant won't offer any other solutions. Please help

Just a thought but have they pinpointed the cause eg allergen? And for the asthma too?

With me way back it was black mould/damp in the house I was renting and when I moved it cleared totally. I noticed first that when I was away for the day eg at a market, I was clear. Then when I came home? Back.

I was the same. Rented an apartment for 7 years where there was damp and mould. And no matter how much I cleaned, my allergies were really bad until I moved out. And I have had no allergies since.
So really look at environmental factors such as damp, bedding, pets, carpets and see is it something that is aggravating your symptoms.

One thing that helped until I could move was an electric dehumidifier. I used to have to empty it every day.

I moved the settee in that rental and the wall was black with mould. So I checked on the internet and read about Black Mould Disease.

Out here by the ocean I am free except for seasonal hay fever occasionally.
