Lidl Parklife Chain Sharpener

This electric tool is available again in Lidl for €30. I’m in two minds to buy it.
I hand sharpen my chains and I suppose I do a pretty good job. However, when, the older the chains get and the more they are sharpened, the cutters tend to develop different lengths for a variety of reasons. I’m wondering if I should buy this to even them up?

We have the aldi version.
It's a super job and you get a great sharpening on the chain.
I'd highly reccomend
Just be careful you havent the depth of it set to low or itll eat chains,

Father got one last year & I've used it a couple of times. TBH, it ok but the Stihl hand sharpener does a way better job & quicker too.

Keeps the rakers/depth guages filed to the correct height at the same time. Like using a brand new chain after every sharpen.

Tempted by your suggestion. Doing the rakers at the same time is a bonus.

If you're like me and end up with a chain covered in gunk and oil then the electric sharpener is the way to go.
Them hand sharpeners are great for a clean chain but unless you are prepared to clean off a dirty chain then they are next to useless
