turntable advice

    Hi,

I have a Pro-ject Essential turntable and set it up after some years idle.
The anti skate weight was missing in transit so at first the needle skated to the centre of the record. I bought an official replacement weight and now the needle does a back and forth movement on the spot. Sort of the two opposites, a mini skate and over correction.

Any idea if this is now weight related or needle related?
