Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

CMA vs CIMA: Worth it?

    Hi all,

Hope everyone is keeping safe during this time.

I have recently been contemplating working towards obtaining the Certified Management Accountant qualification (with IMA as opposed to CIMA). My primary background is in Corporate Banking (Project Management & now Credit Risk Management), but I did a 1.5 years stint in a Big4 (not in Audit).

Although I enjoy being back in banking and working in Credit Risk, I have been contemplating the CMA in order to move into management level either in the bank itself or back in a Big4 Advisory (which would allow me to manage engagements etc..).

I am not particularly interested in the ACCA as this is not really in line with my personal ambitions, especially since it is a 3 year commitment.

    Is the CMA worth it?

    Thank you.
