I've heard that this isn't the case and the reason why so many people are able to order illegal drugs from the Dark Web without worry of prosecution.

The police must provide evidence in court that an individual who lives at a certain address ordered a package of illegal drugs to their house. Them receiving a package is simply not enough.

I know a few friends that have ordered cannabis, LSD, benzos, and prescription pain pills only to have them confiscated by customs. They say that the only thing they got at first was a so called 'love-letter' which outlines that a package ordered to their address contains an illegal substance(s) and will be destroyed.

It says the second time it happens, their address will be forwarded to the Gardai.
