Hi. I have 2 long cracks going along each side of my roofbox. The box itself is still opening and closing. Would I be able to get it repaired and does anyone know if it would cost a lot of money? Is it a big job? Thanks

If its plastic you could get it welded, a friend got a bumper done by a place in limerick. Done an excellent job on it

Put two straps around it anyway either way...

You could do it yourself with tape or fibreglass, or do you want me to move this thread from DIY section to main forum?

Thanks! Maybe the main forum might be better as I'm not a diy person!!
Would it be an expensive job and time consuming if I got someone to repair it?

Someone like http://www.customcomposites.ie/ should be able to help, or even your local bodyshop.

Simple to do yourself and cheap. Just fibreglass it from the inside.
