Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Evening All,

I was up around slade valley for a poke around over the weekend and the few trails I found seemed pretty steep. Does anyone know if there's any shallower trails.

The trails I found were on the kilteel side and ended up down near the bottom aerials?

Dire straits and bombhole are steep the rest should be quite manageable. There is several other unmarked trails that are all very ridable by beginners.

Went there last year for a scope around, flat and rooty is how I'd describe the trails I found.
Certainly didn't find any steep ones, but then I suppose its all relative to what you're used too. Most of the trails I found radiated out from the top aerials.

You definitely found the most technical trail there in Dire Straits. Most of the others are easier, and apart from the bombhole they aren't very steep. The main issue in Slade is the roots - it tends to get super slippy in the wet. They are great trails though, with something for all levels.
