I'm considering building a new PC to replace my 2014 Dell PC. It's been fine for most games recently but I would like to be able to run the new Microsoft Flight Simulator at high settings. I want a fairly high end PC without spending a fortune.

    My current PC specs are:

    CPU: Intel i7-4770 @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs)
    RAM: 16GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

    My proposed new build:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Motherboard: MSI B450-A PRO MAX ATX AM4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X*
PSU: EVGA 600 W1, 80+ WHITE 600W (from old PC)
Case: Corsair 110R ATX Mid Tower Case

*I will wait for the announcement of the new GPUs in September.

    1. What is your budget? €1000

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] (If gaming include which games) Gaming, Internet, Programming, App Development

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [Hard drive/DVD Drive/Case/PSU/etc.] (If possible state brand and model of the parts to ensure compatibility) Ideally I would use my EVGA 600 W1, 80+ WHITE 600W PSU. I will also use the Blu-Ray drive in the new build. I have two SSDs and a HDD which are all fairly new so they will be used in the new build.

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1920x1080. I plan on getting a 4k monitor at some point.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.] No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
