US Bought Amazon Echo 3rd Gen Connecting to SkyQ Hub

Hi lads, has anyone managed to get an Echo connected to the SkyQ hub? I've read there are issues. Mad thing is, before I reset it to put in my detail it just magically connected itself. Has worked in the UK on the older Skyhub no bother.
