Top lateral incisor keeps chipping

Hi all.. just looking for some opinions/thoughts

I got some work done last year on my teeth which included filling out my two top lateral incisors with bonding. The incisors were small with gap on both, so I was delighted to have them bonded/filled out.

My problem is that the bond on lateral incisor on the left side keeps chipping. Usually when eating. I go back to dentist and he fills it again. 3 times it happened... And it's happened again last night !!

Is this a common problem ? My dentist suggested veneer but wanted to give the bonding a go first.

Will a veneer be much stronger ? Less likely to chip. ? I assume it's not suitable for crown as it was not mentioned.

    It is quite common.
Small fillings that’s cover little surface area debond a lot. Fillings with poor occlusal planning debond a lot.
When I have repeated debonds and I am confident with my bonding then it’s usually one of the above.
