Is it normal to sign pre-interview confidentiality form before the actual interview?

I applied for a job a month ago and I have been given a confidentiality form to sign before being invited for an actual onsite interview (to which they said they are organising due to COVID). But I still haven't heard anything back after that.

I know sometimes you get invited for an interview like months after submitting your application but is it normal to sign pre-interview confidentiality form but get interviewed months later? I am getting a bit anxious because I am just desperate to leave my s***ty job

Not normal. However, NDAs are commonly used by companies.

I wouldn't worry about it. There could just be sensitive information about the role that they didn't want to release in the job advertisement.

In my experience the time between applying and interviewing, and interviewing to being accepted, is as long as a piece of string. Especially with COVID, I wouldn't let the timing throw you.
