Wee cousin looking to build a comp, had a laptop picked out for him thanks to suggestions on here earlier in summer but he's decided to change to desktop, but been a long time since I've looked at parts.

Think its a budgeting issue, he's keen to just get started. Have already told him you can't put it together until you have it all anyway but will def say it to him again

There's also warranty issue to consider. Warranty will be wasting away on parts bought before he has a chance to build it and see if everything works.
