My mother is getting a new gas cooker to replace the 40year old model she has.

Its an ordinary gas cooker and will be supplied by the 11kg butane gas bottle cylinders.

I was wondering what are the regulations around such an installation. The gas pipe is already inplace it looks like a 1/4" copper pipe so it will simply be a matter of connect.

Gas installations have to be hooked up by an RGI now by law, my advice before she purchases it is get a price from the retailer, they will normally recommend their RGI
