    And tell me what kind of a price per acre one might get? Considering purchasing 40 acres of land which is currently covered in this stuff, and wondering if the trees could offset the cost of the land.

    I would say the stuff is Sitka spruce.
    Price/acre depends on age, how many premiums left, location.
    The stuff offset the land but vendor will already have factored this in.

    Be careful. If you clear the trees and don’t replant you could be liable for a hefty bill
