Learner permit application form question

I have passed my theory exam. I am finding it excruciatingly difficult to wrap my head around the application process for acquiring the provisional license (not to mention having to wait a further 6months+ to actually sit the full test!)

My questions is are both the eyesight report and Medical report mandatory to submit alongside the application form..? The form contradicts some of this.

Having previously done the UK theory test/got the provisional there it was child's play compared to this application process.

It depends on the category you are applying for. AFAIK a medical report is required for the truck and bus categories. It is not required for lesser categories unless you have a specific medical condition which may affect your driving.

You may not need to submit medical report, but an eyesight report is mandatory.

The medical is for if you suffer from any medical conditions that could cause you issues when driving ,seizesures ,heart ,stokes and so on
