Hi all, when is growth scan carried out?
I'm just starting week 32 and not due back to hospital again until week 36. I thought in advance of my appointment I would be getting the growth scan this week but no that was not the case just BP, urine and blood check and a check on baby for heart beat and surrounding placenta. Baby is breeched with at least a month now.

They only do a growth scan if there is a concern for the growth of the baby. Is there a concern?

Thankfully no cause for concern, I thought for some reason that there would be a growth scan. Everything is going fine with pregnancy aside from it being in a breached position. I was told there is plenty time yet for it to turn

That's good news then. They will probably scan you close to your due date to check if Baby has turned. Hopefully they do! My kiddo was doing tumbles until week 38 and thankfully settled.

I'm glad all is going okay, kicking and movement has certainly kicked in. That's good to hear that it's not uncommon so up to late pregnancy for it not to turn and came right in the end. Hopefully I will be as lucky too. Thank you taking the time for the feedback 🙂ðŸ‘
