Kids Outdoor Play Area

    Hi.
We have just purchased a swing/slide set and a trampoline for our kids, which we want to install in our back garden.
We want to put them into a separate area of our garden with rubber mulch as the surface for it (we will surround the area with some edging stone to provide a border between it and the rest of the lawn).

Just looking for two bits of advice on this...
    1. The trampoline is 13 foot in diameter, while the swing set is a little under 13 foot square also.
Any advice on how much space to leave in total for the area? Not too sure how much space to leave around the edges and between the swing & trampolíne.
Just trying to estimate how big of an area to set aside so as to know how much rubber mulch we need.
    2. For anyone who has done something similar - how deep did you go with the surface? Would 50mm be sufficient or do we need to go deeper for safety?
Again just trying to figure out how much rubber mulch we need and the depth we go will dictate this along with the square footage of the area.
    3. Finally, I don’t suppose anyone has any recommendations on a source for the rubber mulch?
Have found a handful of places. All looking likely to be €700+ per tonne bag.
Have seen a few cheaper places but They are unlikely to have stock any time soon.

Thanks very much in advance for any advice
