    just throwing this out there to see if anyone has one knocking around that they don't need.
    must be silver, and would prefer compact. 170mm preferable also, but would also consider 172.5mm.

    Alas no, sorry - 53/39. But I do have a compact 6600 172.5 in silver, needs elbow grease to make it shine again (bit oily) but otherwise pretty good.

    easiest way is to sand off in stages, then polish to finish.

    cheers, that's 660, so 10 speed, not 11 speed. it's a 53-39, ideally going for 50-34, or maybe 52-36 if all else fails.

    Is there a different in cranks between 10 and 11-speed though? Once the BCD matches, they're interchangeable, right?

    i had assumed that chain width was different, but reading up on it, inner chain width is not, it's only outer chain width which has changed?
