I've read that medical card holders are entitled to one check up and two fillings 'per calender year'. Does this mean January to December or from when you were issued the card until one year later?
For instance I was issued the card in June 2019 and went for an examination and two fillings in February 2020. The card was renewed for another year in June just gone. Does this mean that I can't go for another examination and two fillings until January at least?

Per “calendar year“ is Jan to Dec
What you are referring to is a “rolling year”.
Dental services are per calendar year.
