What's this classic?

    My Dad asked me about the car in the attached picture. The picture was taken in 1973 so the car would have been a classic even then. What he can tell me is that he believes it's an American car, almost certainly a V8.

    Anyone able to help?

    My money is on a Vauxhall 10, car headlamp behind looks like the early
    Victor 101.

    Or the one behind maybe the Cresta
