Ok so i’m really stressed about this at the moment. I have tried searching for jobs everywhere, I handed out CVs and I am applying for jobs on Indeed but I can’t seem to find a job and all my friends are working and it’s really stressing me out. I applied for local babysitting jobs but they all want someone with a full licence. I am due to start college this year and I need money. What do I do?

Get yourself a sugar daddy and follow AH standard advice by blasting him with piss. Haha. Sorry.

Do you qualify for the PUP?

Some pub restaurants are looking for staff

Between PUP and the Live register, there are something like 500 000 people out of work. The last time I tried calculating this, there were 7 000 jobs advertised on Indeed over a 30 day period.

That means 70 applicants for every job. Competitive market out there, I'm afraid. I wouldn't be surprised if the next thing we see is downward pressure on wages, or the minimum wage itself.

Don't think you will get the advice you are looking for here, maybe try the Work and Jobs forum.

Heart goes out. See it with my own siblings and in particular extremely concerned at ones mental health. Must be incredibly difficult for people at the minute.

Definitely not the right forum for this post given some of the fooking geebags that have responded.

You are not likely to find a job right now.

Is there some skill you can hire out? Secretarial skills? Gardening skills?

I can set you up with my mate Ken. He has a sports car with a radio in it.

    And he likes to party.

    Nothing you can do.
The job market right now is akin to the height of the recession. As there's alot of people looking for jobs but not enough jobs to go around.

Go to your college, get a degree or whatever your college course is offering, get some experience (even if you generate your own experience) and you will come out ok on the other side.

If you are referencing the fact that without a job you cannot pay for college check out springboard courses.
