    Hi all

I am considering building my first gaming PC. I'm pretty comfortable when it comes to working on mechanical stuff, but my knowledge of PCs is quite limited. I've been reading a lot about it and watching a lot of YouTube vids, and I feel like I could give it a good go.

The computer will be used almost exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, so I assume a good graphics card and plenty of RAM are important.

I'd be very grateful if you guys could recommend a build spec.

    1. What is your budget? €1,500

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming - Flight Simulator 2020.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? No right now.

5a. If yes, what size do you need.

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Current monitor is 1920x1080 but I plan to upgrade to something better after I've the PC built.

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes.

    8. How can you pay? Card.

    9. When are you purchasing? Next few weeks or months.

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Galway.

    Thanks in advance.

I would advise to come back around mid-September, when the next generation of graphics cards have been revealed/leaked.
