    My 2012 MB C220 CDI was recently serviced and got the all clear, and now am thinking of getting a remap.

    Having read the forums, Joe Power seems recommended a lot but has not gotten back to me, MFK seem to have good rates and also include a pre and post dyno run. Would anyone have experience with them?

    Regarding the impact of higher torque on the transmission, while I wasn't able to find out the max rated Nm for the 7G+, going from the standard 400Nm to around 440ish should be ok in terms of longevity?

    10 percent extra should never be a problem unless the car wasnt healthy to start with.

    Id definately get joe power for that reason .
    Great reputation. Ive heard people have dropped cars in to him to be brought up to a certain bhp and he would only go so far as the car wouldnt be able to take it. Wouldnt be reliable after.
    A friend got a kia ceed mapped a few years back. The lad who did it pushed the power all the way up. Clutch started slipping on the way home with hard acceleration.
    Tbh the clutch was most likely on the way out regardless but it was an extra expense he wasnt expecting
