I find the ones in Penneys to be fine, especially if you don't want to splash out on a suit you mightn't wear again.

Best Menswear in either Jervis or Stephens Green SC.

Men's clothes shop have been selling decent suits for 50-70% off and as little as €80-100. No need to go near penneys. I don't live in Dublin so can't recommend anywhere.

Marks and Spencer's do good quality ones. I wouldn't be going wild over a suit for an interview.

+1 on Marks and Spencer's. I have Magee's too but you'd want to doing something special to splash out on a Magee

Where ever you get it make some room in your budget for tailoring .

Make sure the trouser legs aren’t too long , shoes are polished and don’t buy a black suit .

Plain navy and a blue or white plain shirt

    Black shoes ideally

    Job done

Or just buy a suit that fits before you stash it in your wardrobe because you work in manufacturing.

Actually a black suit can look classy and is useful for those inevitable funerals. Asians (East Asians/chinese) in particular can pull them off.

Yeah you need a little colour to pull off black but they tend to wash us of the native Irish persuasion out

Yes as someone above said, the suit must be tailored.

Also, make sure you wear nice shoes.
