Would a car fail the NCT for being spray painted a different colour?

The car in question is blue. It's an old car but still completely roadworthy and will be on the road going into the future. 2 friends of mine spray painted a part in white and another part in green, in the end they ended up with 2 panels a completely different colour than the rest of the car. Are there any negative impacts of this - other than the fact it'll look bad. I don't drive it myself so I don't really care but I feel that this was a bad move on their part so i'm curious

They can just fill out a change of particulars form and say it’s multicoloured.
