Right folks my father in law is looking for a new car, he is currently driving a Dacia Sandero and he’s finding it tricky to get in and out of he says it’s too low.
He ideally wants something high off the ground whilst not too big, when he got the sandero he initially went in for a duster but it looked very big in the showroom and he got nervous he wouldn’t manage it

Any advice would be great, thanks

    The internet isn’t for everyone

    A Duster would suit perfectly.

If he likes the Sandero, what about the stepway.

Suzuki Ignis also comes to mind with higher driving position but a small car overall

A hyundai kona would be a good option. Its smaller than a duster but bigger than a sandero and at a nice height. It comes with a frugal 1 litre petrol engine too.

frugal 1 litre petrol engine too.
Everyone I know that has one says the opposite.

OP, I'd suggest a Stepway or the new Captur, Peugeot 2008 or Ignis as pointed out above.

Have a look at the Kia Stonic too, my father in his early 70s, moved to one of them recently and finds it great. It's shorter than the Toyota Auris he had before it but the seating is a little higher. It has parking sensors and reversing camera so a doddle to park. 7 year warranty on them too.

    Toyota CH-r
Seat or Skoda theyre both the same... Is it the karoq... Keep mixing them up but there is a small version but with the higher up driving style.

Second that one. Brilliant little car, roomy inside, tiny outside, upright seating position, good view out, light controls, very easy on the fuel (around 5.2 - 5.5 l/100 km for me, and that's the 4wd version)
